PR Pros to Learn About “Leadership Gumbo” at NCPRSA Annual Meeting; SE District President Dr. Joe Trahan to Deliver Keynote Address
Join NCPRSA on Thursday, Dec. 16, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. at the Capital City Club in downtown Raleigh, for its annual chapter meeting and luncheon.
In addition to hearing chapter highlights for the year, attendees will meet new board directors and officers for 2011, and hear from Dr. Joseph Trahan, APR, Fellow PRSA.
Dr. Trahan is a media relations trainer, public relations strategist, business owner and PRSA Southeast district chair. His address, “The Gumbo Soup of Leadership,” will draw from his Louisiana roots and compare leadership traits to ingredients added to an imaginary kettle of leadership gumbo soup. Dr. Trahan’s presentation will challenge and motivate attendees to become better, more passionate and committed leaders. He also will discuss the importance of public relations to society, the future of the public relations profession and PRSA leadership.

Important Parking Notice: Public parking is available in the McLaurin Convention Center parking deck on the corner of Wilmington and Cabarrus streets. The deck may be accessed through the Blount Street entrance.
If approaching the Progress Energy Building on Wilmington Street, turn right onto Davie Street and turn right onto Blount Street. The parking deck entrance is located approximately 1/2 block on the right.
