BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – June 5, 2012 – The Alabama Chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) will host “What Your Mother Never Told You About PR!” on Tuesday, July 10 at Jefferson State Community College, Shelby Campus from 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m.

Beginning at 8 a.m., guests will enjoy a complimentary breakfast sponsored by Chick-Fil-A 5 Points South. Guests will then take a crash course in crisis communications with Alabama’s 13’s Jon Paepcke, The Birmingham News’ Joseph Bryant and CBS 42’s Cynthia Gould.  Jennifer Skjullum with Runtime Computing Solutions will discuss strategies for developing and delivering messages with impact. Sam Burn, Commission of Culture for Jim ‘N Nick’s will discuss brand building.
