You’ll leave “Soda City” with a wealth of information and practical leadership strategies that will help your chapter succeed.

Who Should Attend?

Current, incoming and aspiring PRSA leaders are encouraged to attend.

Chapter boards are strongly urged to support the participation of key leaders such as presidents-elect, secretaries, treasurers and chairs for programming, membership, communication, ethics, diversity, accreditation, etc.

In addition to sessions for everyone, break-out sessions will be planned by role to facilitate direct networking and interaction with your counterparts at other chapters.

Rally Registration 

This one-day leadership training and development event is open to all PRSA members.

Registration covers materials, breakfast, lunch and refreshments on the day of the rally for all attendees.

A special lodging rate of $119 ** has been arranged for all attendees at the Inn at USC, where the Rally will take place.

This rate includes Internet, parking and a full cooked-to-order breakfast.

Please join us for some southern hospitality at the Inn at USC for cocktail hour.

We will have an open bar (cash bar) from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the lobby with some complimentary hors d’oeuvres.

Afterwards we will select a restaurant in the nearby Vista or Five Points for dinner (Dutch treat).

Our Keynote Speaker

Charles Weathers, a decorated veteran, served nine years in the U.S. Air Force. He captivates audiences with contagious energy, insight and humor.

Charles_Weathers_Rally14A nationally known speaker, author and consultant, he inspires individuals to face sometimes challenging realities and take charge of transforming their lives from the inside out. A recognized authority on leadership, organizational effectiveness and peak performance, he has become known for his strategic intellect and engaging intensity.

Weathers’ ability to educate while entertaining audiences at all levels has earned him the respect of industry leaders in the non-profit, government, and private sectors. As founder of The Weathers Group, a management consulting firm based in Columbia, South Carolina, he strives to develop leaders and strategies that improve an organization’s performance.

His background includes two decades of board leadership and service, 15 years as a fundraising professional and six years in the private sector. In addition, he has more than 10 years of experience as a successful business entrepreneur, and has served as a coach to leaders in every sector.

Currently Weathers serves on the board of directors for several nonprofit organizations and was a member of the national Independent Sector’s Advisory Group on Nonprofit Effectiveness.

A proud father of four, he and his family reside in South Carolina.
